Rx Solutions, a pharmaceutical grade skin care line featured in the December 2010 issue of America?s Pharmacist Magazine, is now available at Creative Compounds, a compounding pharmacy in Wilsonville, Oregon. The products will also be available from the pharmacy's website. As part of a commitment to provide educational services, Denise Burnham, pharmacist and owner of Creative Compounds offers consultations for menopause, hormone imbalances, and other disorders frequently treated by compounded medications. ?Many of my consulting clients going through hormone challenges notice skin changes and signs of aging skin. While researching skin care lines to carry in our pharmacy I found Rx Solutions, a complete skin care line developed by the lead pharmacist for a compounding pharmacy. These skin care products are only available at select compounding pharmacies.?
After years of research Rx Solutions offers products that correct the signs of aging, reduce wrinkles, shrink pores and restore the skin?s natural radiance. The line consists of five custom therapies designed to meet specific needs of various ages and skin types.
?It came to my attention that ingredients listed in skin care lines don?t list the percentages of ingredients, or quantity of each component. Rx Solutions uses therapeutic doses of ingredients specifically formulated to correct sun damage, aging, and environmental stress,? says Burnham. ?From my research, I discovered that various over the counter skin care lines have ingredients that could interfere with some of the medications many of my clients take.?
In addition to carrying Rx Solutions, Creative Compounds announces they are now PCAB accredited (the only compounding pharmacy in the Portland Oregon area to be accredited). They bill most insurance companies, and mail products free to patients for convenience.
Starting in January, Creative Compounds is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Dianna Henson ND, who will be offering Botox and other aesthetic services twice a month at Creative Compound's Wilsonville, Oregon location.
